EVALUASI TEKNIS GEOMETRI JALAN TAMBANG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS ALAT ANGKUT PADA PENAMBANGAN BATUBARA DI PT BIMA PUTRA ABADI CITRANUSA, LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN.
The ideal mine haul road will optimize production results in accordance with the planned production targets. The coal production target at PT Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa is 300,000 tons per month, while the actual production is 237,450 tons per month. One of the reasons for this failure was due to the less than ideal haul road geometry, such as less than ideal road width, too high grade and so on, so that the dump truck travel time from pit seam A1 to the Talang root stockpile became very long. The purpose of this study was to determine the actual haul road geometry, to examine the actual haul road conditions in the field with the results of mathematical calculations based on AASHTO provisions, to compare the productivity of dump trucks before and after the haul road geometry repair, to determine the factors that affect haul roads. Based on the results of the study, the mine haul road layout design was obtained from pit seam A1 to the Talang root stockpile with 89 segments. The actual haul road geometry has a straight road width between 5.99-30.46 meters, a bend road width between 5.37-27.62 meters, a superelevation between 0.00-0.314 meters with a bend radius between 13.44-112 .15 meters and road grade between 0.029-19.28%. Based on the calculation of road geometry using the AASHTO provisions, there are still many that do not meet the standards. Dump truck cycle time before repair is 55.25 minutes, while after repair it is 17.62 minutes loaded and 15.97 minutes empty, so the total time is 33.59 minutes.
