The achievement of overburden stripping production at PT. Duta Alam Sumatera, Lahat, South Sumatera in January to March amounted to 448,864 bcm from the production target of 890,000 bcm. The realization of overburden stripping production did not reach the target so that it was detrimental to the company as the owner of the Mining Business License Area. If the production target is not achieved, it is necessary to evaluate the bulldozer ripper as well as digging and hauling equipment. The purpose of this study was to determine the production achievement of bulldozer ripper and digging and hauling equipment and the factors causing production failure. This study compares the calculation of real production in the field and theoretical production. The theoretical overburden stripping production calculation did not reach the target of 453.600 bcm. The results of the study indicate that the means of transportation are the cause of the inability to achieve production and the influencing factors include the circulation time of the cycle time, work efficiency or less than optimal supervision. Therefore, improvements must be made to the obstacles that affect so that production can be increased.
