Gulamah fish (Johnius trachycephalus Bleeker) is a fish that has economic value among the community because it has a soft flesh texture. The waters around the Sembilang National Park, one of which functions as a fishing ground, this can result in the availability of the number and survival of fish decreasing and disrupting. One of the fish that live in these waters is gulamah fish. The fish are managed properly so that the gulamah fish population does not decrease. The purpose of this study was to study and understand aspects related to the reproductive biology of Gulamah fish in Sembilang National Park, Barong River, South Sumatra which includes the relationship between fish weight and length, sex ratio, gonadal maturity level (GML), gonadal maturity index (GMI), fecundity and diameter of fish eggs. The benefit of this research is to provide information about the reproductive biology of gulamah fish so that they can manage these fish for optimal and sustainable aquaculture or capture fisheries in the Barong River, South Sumatra. The method used in this research is simple random sampling method. The research will be conducted from October 2021 to May 2022. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Reproductive Biological Aspects of Gulamah Fish around Sembilang National Park, Barong River, South Sumatra. The stages of this research consisted of sampling, sample measurement, calculation and analysis of the relationship between weight and length on fecundity, calculation of sex ratio, gonadal maturity level, gonadal maturity index, calculation of egg fecundity and egg diameter. The conclusion of this study was that the gulamah fish had a sex ratio of 1:11.5, the GMI value was 2.40-4.68% and the GML of female fish that were ready to spawn were 12. Keywords: Gulamah Fish (Johnius trachycephalus Bleeker), Barong River, Reproductive Biology.
