ANALISIS SPEKTRUM DATA SEISMIK PASIF BERFREKUENSI RENDAH UNTUK IDENTIFIKASI LANGSUNG HIDROKARBON (STUDI KASUS: LAPANGAN ‘BR’ DAERAH CEKUNGAN JAWA BARAT UTARA)
A low frequency anomaly (1-6 Hz) of a microtremor spectrum known as hydrocarbon microtremor (MH) has successfully been applied to identify the presence of hydrocarbon reservoirs. The anomaly directly indicates the reservoirs so that it is well known as Microtremor Direct Hydrocarbon Identification (MDHI) in the passive seismic exploration method. The study area is the 'BR' development field of the North West Java basin which has 95 microtremor stations and one hydrocarbon production well. The identification is based on attributes of the microtremor spectrum in the form of Vertical-Horizontal spectral ratio (V/H) and Power Spectral Density (PSD) and they then correlated with the 'BR' field time structures of seismic data. The results show that hydrocarbon anomalies based on the attribute analysis are concentrated on Area 2, Area 3 and Area 5 of the study area, which are geologically presented as an anticline structure. The results of this study provide preliminary information for further exploration, and can be used for determining of new wells in the exploration activities.
