STUDI STRATIGRAFI PADA FORMASI TALANG AKAR BERDASARKAN DATA PERMUKAAN DAERAH SUKOMORO DAN SEKITARNYA, KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
The Sukomoro area and its surroundings, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera have characteristics of sedimentary rocks of late Oligocene to Early Miocene age which were deposited in the South Sumatera Basin and are included in the Talang Akar Formation, Gumai Formation, and Air Benakat Formation. The analysis process was carried out using the lithofacies analysis method (Mial, 1985) to determine the depositional environment. By classifying each type of lithofacies that has been obtained from the stratigraphic column into facies association groups. From the facies association data, it will produce data in the form of interpretation of the depositional environment in the study area. The results of data processing in the form of visualization in the form of a map of the depositional environment. The results of data processing in the form of visualization in the form of a map of the depositional environment. Based on the analysis of the stratigraphic column in the study area, 7 types of lithofacies were obtained, namely Litofacies (Sg), Litofacies (Sm), Litofacies (St), Litofacies (Sc), Litofacies (Sh), Litofacies (Fl), and Litofacies (Fsc). The facies association analysis of the Talang Akar Formation can be divided into four facies associations which are included in an intertidal tidal depositional system, namely tidal channel, tidal sand flat, tidal sand-mud mixed flat, and tidal mud flat. The Talang Akar Formation can be interrupted was deposited in the transition zone starting from intertidal-subtidal.
