ANALISIS PERUBAHAN MORFOLOGI SUNGAI KEDURANG SEBAGAI RESPON TERHADAP STRUKTUR GEOLOGI MELALUI DEM DAERAH KEDURANG , KABUPATEN BENGKULU SELATAN, PROVINSI BENGKULU
The Kedurang River is a river located in Batuampar Village, Kedurang District, South Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. The headwaters of the Kedurang river are in the Rajamandara Mountains and downstream in the Indian Ocean. This river flows relatively from north to south with a river length of ± 35 km. The Kedurang river discussed in this study is the Kedurang river which passes through the Villages of Manau Sembilan, Tanjung Betung II, Batuampar, Rantau Sialang and others. The purpose of this research is to analyze changes in river morphology which are influenced by the geological structure that cuts the river. The type of river morphology in the study area is divided into 5 types, namely type B with a length of 4700 m, type C 4400 m, type A having a length of 1400 m, type F 3600 m and type G 2400 m in length. Regarding the Kedurang river, the Pematang Begelung anticline is in the AB segment, the Batuampar upswing fault intersects the DE segment and the Ratausialang descending fault is around the EF segment. Changes in the morphology of the river to the geological structure that develops based on its sinusity, there is a decrease and an increase. Sinusity changes are caused by a developing structure. Changes in river morphology cause erosion around the river, to prevent disasters, the solution for dealing with it can be done by installing gabions and taluds.
