ANALISIS MORFOMETRI TERHADAP PERUBAHAN ALUR SUNGAI PULASAN, KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG, PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT.
Pulasan River is located in Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra Province. Geologically included in the Solok Map sheet, the research was did in an area of 9 x 9 km which contains several formations including the Kuantan Formation (Pckl), Ombilin Formation (Tmol) and Granite Intrusion (g). Morphologically, the study area is located at an elevation of 200-500 meters above sea level consisting of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. Besides the value of slope stability around the river wall, one of the controls of morphometric changes is the characteristics and conditions of the rock units. Morphometric analysis was did using geographic information system data processing support applications including Arcgis and Google Earth. Morphometric analysis was did using spatial data, namely Landsat 5 TM images with a combination of band 7, band 4 and band 2 to analyze the river in 2000 and Landsat 8OLI/TIRS images with a combination of band 7, band 5 and band 3 to analyze the river in 2022. Measurements were made quantitatively consisting of 6 parameters, namely the radius of curvature (R), river width (W), flow length (S), neck length (L), axis length (A) and sinusitas (C) which were compared between 2000 and 2022. Based on the results of data analysis that has been processed, the average value of sinusitas (C) > 1.5 means that the Pulasan river is included in the meandering river.
