ANALISIS LAND SUBSIDENCE KOTA JAMBI DENGAN METODE DIFFERENTIAL INTERFEROMETRY SYNTHETICS APERTURE RADAR BERBASIS ZONASI GEOLOGI.
Jambi City is one of the fastest-growing cities in Indonesia and the capital city of Jambi Province. The population is experiencing a very rapid increase every year. The population is accompanied by increased infrastructure development and groundwater needs. Geologically the area of Jambi City is formed from geological formations that are a quarter of the age that is still young, so it is possible that compaction can occur, which can cause land subsidence. Excessive water withdrawal can also cause land subsidence. To minimize the impact it causes, monitoring is needed as a disaster mitigation effort. This research utilizes SAR (Synthetics Aperture Radar) imagery. This research aims to map the sub-centimeter area of Jambi City using the DInSAR (Differential Interferometric Synthetics Aperture Radar) method, and this method has an accuracy of reaching sub-centimeters for large deformations. The data used in this study are sentinel-1a level 1 satellite imagery (2016 – 2021) and population data from the Central Statistics Agency. The data is processed using SNAP software (Sentinel Application Platform) and ArcGIS 10.6. The results of the DInSAR management show that the Jambi City area has subsidence dominated by the center of population activity with a high level of land use, an average annual value of 11.28 cm/year, and maximum annual subsidence of -8.6 cm in 2019 in South Jambi sub-district and Pasar sub-district by -7.7 cm in 2021 Keywords: DInSAR, Geology, Sentinel, SNAP, Subsidence
