KARAKTERISASI RESERVOAR KARBONAT MENGGUNAKAN METODE INVERSI IMPEDANSI AKUSTIK MODEL-BASED PADA LAPANGAN “ZR” FORMASI BATURAJA CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
ZR Field in the South Sumatra Basin which produces hydrocarbon as producers of oil and gas. The target zone is the Baturaja Formation is dominated by carbonate rocks that have potential to be reservoir hydrocarbons. This study utilized a model of based seismic inversion method to determine the characteristics reservoir based on the distribution acoustic impedance. The data used in this study was 3D seismic post stack datasets and wells data ZR-015. Slicing performed in the zone of interest showed the result of the distribution of acoustic impedance values in the range of 8000-16000 ((m/s)*(g/cc)) at depth 1290 – 1740 ms (in domain TWT). Carbonate reservoir potential is indicated through an distribution of acoustic impedance with the porous carbonate zone range between 7000-10000 ((m/s)*(g/cc)) and the tight carbonate zone range of 11000-14000 ((m/s)*(g/cc)). The results of the overlay between the acoustic impedance distribution map and the time structure map obtained 2 recommended areas to be potential new wells, at around inline 10774 xline 6222 at depth 1485 ms (domain TWT) and inline 10997 xline 6090 at depth 1395 ms (domain TWT) by AI values and contours or traps.
