Suaka Margasatwa Padang Sugihan is a conservation forest area and includes an PusatLatihan Gajah. Elephant feces found in the SM Padang Sugihan PLG area were left to become a substrate for other organisms such as the fungus group. Coprophilous fungi are a large group of unique saprobic fungi that are able to adapt to grow and thrive in herbivorous manure. Among herbivorous feces, elephant feces are potential substrates that support various macrofungi. Studies on the presence of coprophilous macrofungi in Indonesia have not been widely carried out and especially in the Padang Sugihan SM area. The purpose of this study was to determine the list of genera of coprophilous macrofungi and the dominance of the presence of coprophilous macrofungi which are spread in the Elephant Training Center area of resort XV Suaka Margasatwa Padang Sugihan. This research will be carried out using an exploratory method with a random sampling technique. Exploring coprophilous macrofungi, observing environmental conditions, determining the water content of the substrate, knowing the morphology of the fungus, and calculating the dominance index value. 7 genera of coprophilous macrofungi in PLG SM Padang Sugihan were identified, namely Coprinus patouillardii, Coprinopsis cinerea, Conocybe pubescens, Conocybe sp., Panaeolus antillarum, Psilocybe coprophila, and Ascobolus scatigenus. The dominance index values in PLG SM Padang Sugihan are secondary forest (0.369), gelam forest (1), shrubs (0.346), and grassland (0.307). Suaka Margasatwa Padang Sugihan merupakan kawasan hutan konservasi dan di dalamnya terdapat Pusat Latihan Gajah. Feses gajah yang ditemukan tersebar dalam kawasan PLG SM Padang Sugihan dibiarkan begitu saja menjadi substrat bagi organisme lainnya seperti dari kelompok jamur. Jamur koprofil (dung-loving) adalah kelompok besar jamur saprobik yang unik yang mampu beradaptasi untuk tumbuh dan berkembang di kotoran herbivora. Di antara feses herbivora, feses gajah merupakan substrat potensial yang mendukung berbagai makrofungi. Kajian tentang keberadaan makrofungi koprofil di Indonesia masih belum banyak dilakukan dan khususnya di kawasan SM Padang Sugihan belum pernah ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daftar genera makrofungi koprofil dan dominansi keberadaan makrofungi koprofil yang tersebar di area Pusat Latihan Gajah resort XV Suaka Margasartwa Padang Sugihan. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode eksplorasi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara random sampling. Dilakukan eksplorasi makrofungi koprofil, pengamatan kondisi lingkungan,penentuan kadar air substrat, identifikasi morfologi jamur, dan penghitungan nilai indeks dominansi. Diperoleh 7 genera makrofungi koprofil di PLG SM Padang Sugihan yang telah diindentifikasi yaitu Coprinus patouillardii, Coprinopsis cinerea, Conocybe pubescens, Conocybe sp., Panaeolus antillarum, Psilocybe coprophila, dan Ascobolus scatigenus. Nilai indeks dominansi di PLG SM Padang Sugihan yaitu hutan sekunder (0,369), hutan gelam (1), semak (0,346), dan padang rumput (0,307).
