ISOLASI BAKTERI PEMBUSUK PADA IKAN SEMBILANG (Plotosus sp.) DI MUARA SUNGAI MUSI KABUPATEN BANYUASIN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Bacterial isolation is a step to transfer microorganisms from their environment to the growth medium. Bacterial transfer aims to obtain bacteria that are no longer mixed with other bacteria or are called pure cultures. This study aims to isolate and characterize spoilage bacteria and analyze the total bacteria in gray eel-catfish from the Musi River Estuary, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The sampling of gray eel-catfish was obtained randomly from the catch of fishermen. Bacterial isolation method was carried out by pour plate and streak plate then biochemical test using Vitek-2 Compact. The identification results obtained Enterobacter cloacae cloacae on the skin, Enterobacter aerogenes on the gill and Myroides spp. on the intestine. The lowest total bacteria were found in skin sample 3 and the highest in gill sample 2 were 1.6 x 10^6 CFU/g and 6.4 x 10^7 CFU/g
