This research was conducted in Block X and Block Y PT. Sebuku Iron Lateritic Ores (SILO), which is administratively located in Pulau Sebuku, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan. The purpose is to identify enrichment of cobalt (Co) which is influenced by geological conditions including geomorphology, rock types, and the structure of the study area. Block X characteristics are form of geomorphology lowland with sloping-slightly steep slopes (D) and low hills with slightly steep slopes (PR), dominated by highly serpentinized hazburgite which occupies 71% of the study area, surface area composed of Detrital Iron Deposit (B3), and the geological structure is not found in Block X. While Block Y characteristics are geomorphology lowland with very gentle slopes (D), dominated by highly serpentinized hazburgite which occupies 84% of the study area, surface area composed of Lateritic soil, Weathering Cummulate, and Mantle Peridotite (A3), there are faults Northwest-Southeast and structure indication Northwest-Southeast and Southwest-Northeast. Block X laterite characteristics are laterite profile thickness 4,25-13,5 m, the enrichment of cobalt in yellow limonite zone 0.034-0.354 wt.%, and the distribution cobalt grade shows red limonite with high grade (0.15-0.20), yellow limonite with medium grade (0.10-0.15 wt.%), and earthy saprolite with low grade (0.05-0.010 wt.%). Meanwhile, Blok Y laterite characteristics are laterite profile thickness 1.88-9,29 m, enrichment of cobalt in red limonite zone 0.035-0.257 wt.%, and the distribution cobalt grade shows red limonite with medium grade (0.15-0.20 wt.%), yellow limonite with medium grade (0.10-0.15 wt.%), and earthy saprolite with low grade (0.05-0.10 wt.%). So that the differences of geological conditions can affect the characteristics of cobalt (Co) enrichment based on thickness of laterite profile, cobalt enrichment zone, and distribution cobalt grade.
