PENGARUH LITOLOGI TERHADAP KUALITAS AIR SEBAGAI AIR MINUM DI KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA, KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR, PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Research on the influence of lithology on groundwater quality was carried out in North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Regency, South Sumatra. The research area is included in the Palembang – Kayu Agung groundwater basin, which is located in the province of South Sumatra. This study aims to determine the effect of lithology on the quality of groundwater as drinking water. the method used is by using field observations and laboratory tests. Data were collected as many as 15 well points and 5 of them were used as laboratory tests to determine the chemical content. The physical parameters of the air used include color, taste, temperature and turbidity. While the chemical parameters used include pH, TDS, Sulfate, Chloride and Iron (Fe). Based on chemical analysis, namely in SM2, SM6, SM9, SM13 and SM15 which greatly affect the lithology, the iron (Fe) content is 0.1 mg/l for the sandstone lithology of the kasai formation and 4.85 mg/l on the claystone lithology of the Alluvium Formation. From the results of calculations using the scoring method, based on the PERMENKES of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010, the water quality in the study area can be used as drinking water.
