Art is something that is developed by humans as a way of life that develops simultaneously in groups and has different aesthetic values in each result. The creative industry development program proposed by the government is becoming increasingly popular. Palembang which is one of the big city trying to develop the creative industry sector, but until now the creative industry in Palembang is considered less than ideal. This is based on the fact that the increase in the percentage of creative industries which reached 5.76% in Palembang is only dominated by food and songket, which shows the lack of diversity and creativity of this sector in Palembang. One of the reasons for this is the lack of facilities to accommodate these activities. Therefore we need for facilities that are able to accommodate artistic talents, and produce young artists who are ready to work, one solution is to create an art-based vocational high school in Palembang city. The function of the art school consists of, the main function in the form of being a place for teaching and learning art activities and for the supporting function which is a place to show the works of art by school students. In the design of this school using the concept of creative space. Where the concept of creative space can be realized by fulfilling the elements that make up the existing creative space. To achieve this concept, according to Kursty Grove in his book entitled I Wish I Worked There! A Look Inside the Most Creative Spaces in Business building needs to contain 3 elements that make up the creative space itself, the three elements are stimulate space which is achieved with the concepts of nature, collaborative space, and fluid space
