The history of Palembang City in forming the identity of the city has a strong history and meaning with the development of the city which continues to grow significantly. The history and development of the city of Palembang have not yet received a deep appreciation, as can be seen from the absence of a representative forum related to the history and development of the city. In response to this, City Gallery is here as a forum for the general public to find out how the history and transformative development of the city of Palembang has been from time to time. The City Gallery is also expected to be a supporting forum in presenting educational informative activities for Palembang City and also recreational tourists in Palembang City. City Gallery Palembang City is located in a tourism potential area in Palembang City with the application of the Neo Vernacular Architecture design theme which can highlight local architecture by incorporating modern architecture applied to the exterior of the building. The transformation of the development of each period of Palembang City will be visualized in a modern way with the concept of digital images and animated videos (2D) as well as mockups related to the iconic buildings (3D) of Palembang City with a linear pattern so that the pattern will have a flow like the passage of time which can improve aesthetics and deep appreciation when enjoying presented work of architecture.
