MUSEUM ARSITEKTUR NUSANTARA DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Indonesia is a country that is rich in Nusantara Architecture which has various characteristics of each region. Nusantara architecture is a reflection of Indonesian local cultural wisdom. In its development, the architecture of the Nusantara was faced with the threat of extinction and began to be abandoned. Therefore, it is important to take steps to preserve Nusantara Architecture so that it can be enjoyed from time to time by the next generation in good condition without lacking anything. One of the steps that can be taken to maintain the existence of Nusantara architecture is to design and establish a museum of Nusantara Architecture. The Nusantara Architectural Museum will be presented in a building that combines the locality of the Nusantara with today's modern architecture. By carrying out the Post Modern concept, the museum building will not be separated from the values of the Nusantara even though the building will be packaged in a more modern form. On the site, the architectural approach of the Nusantara is carried out by presenting the arrangement of buildings that form public spaces which means that the architecture of the Nusantara is closely related to green spaces and public spaces. Accessibility in sites that can be accessed in all directions shows the value of togetherness and flexibility of Indonesian settlements. In terms of the mass of the building, it has an approach to the typology of shapes from the roof of the Nusantara architecture to the arrangement of the zoning divisions typical of traditional Indonesian houses consisting of the bottom, middle and top. The structure itself combines a rigid structure with a wide-span structure. Meanwhile, the utility system pays attention to the important aspects needed by the Nusantara Architectural Museum.
