PERUBAHAN GARIS PANTAI DI PESISIR BANYUASIN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
The coastal environment is a very dynamic environment. Shoreline changes is one form of dynamics of the coastal environment. Shoreline changes is a continuous process through various natural processes on the coast which include sediment movement, longshore currents, sea surface wave action and land use. The purpose of this study is to analyze shoreline changes using Landsat 4-5 imagery and Sentinel-2A on the Banyuasin coast in 2005-2010-2015-2021 at the lowest low tide and high tide for comparison. This research was conducted in August 2021 in the Banyuasin Coast of South Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is the interpretation of Landsat 4-5 satellite images for 2005- 2010 and Sentinel-2A for 2015-2021 using an overlay to see changes in coastlines and DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) to calculate the area of change. The results of this study indicate that on the coast of Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra for a period of 15 years (2005-2021) there has been a change in the coastline of 34.44 ha for the accretion process covering an area of 63.98 ha and the abrasion process -29.54 ha with a coastline length of 108.84 km. Areas that always experience changes in coastline from 2005-2021 are on the coast of Tanjung Api-Api, Tanjung Carat, and Barong River.
