The Fish Landing Base (PPI) Ketapang is planned to be developed into the Coastal Fishing Port (PPP) Ketapang to support the Ketapang District as a minapolitan area. However, land suitability analysis is required to provide land suitability information before construction, which is the purpose of this study. This research was conducted using a scoring method with physical parameters of mainland such as land use, road accessibility, settlement accessibility, and slope. Meanwhile water parameters such as bathymetry, sedimentation rate, significant wave height, tidal riding, and current velocity. Research data shows result that the land suitability level consisted of the Very Suitable (S1) category covering an area of 3,78 ha (0,75%), Suitable (S2) covering an area of 266,12 ha (53,13%), Marginally Suitable (S3) covering an area of 189,65 ha (37,87 %) and not suitable (N) covering an area of 41,31 ha (8,25 %). Meanwhile, the level of suitability of the waters consists of the Very Suitable category (S1) covering an area of 63,51 ha (12,58%), Suitable (S2) covering an area of 307.12 ha (60,84%), and Marginally Suitable (S3) covering an area of 134.19 (37,87%). PPI Ketapang's land is still classified as suitable for fishing ports, and it is recommended to build a breakwater to prevent high waves and sedimentation in the port area
