ANALISA ALIRAN DAYA PADA SISTEM TENAGA LISTRIK PT. PLN (PERSERO) UP2B SUB SISTEM SUMATERA SELATAN (70 KV) MENGGUNAKAN METODE NEWTON-RAHPSON.
The electric power system basically aims to distribute electricity from the generator to the consumer and of course it needs to be designed in such a way so that it can operate properly. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the load flow in an electric power system that aims to maintain supply and evaluate the planning and development of an electric power system. Where in this final project, the load flow calculation uses the Newton-Rahpson which is used to perform calculations on the 70 kV electrical system in the South Sumatra region. From the results of the MATLAB simulation using the Newton-Rahpson method, the calculation reaches convergence in the 3rd iteration and the active and reactive power losses on the transmission line are 1,057 Mw and 8,923 Mvar which are obtained from the difference between the active and reactive power values of the generator and load. Calculation of power flow using MATLAB can be an alternative in calculating load flow even though it has disadvantages such as the need for accuracy in its application and prone to errors.
