ANALISIS PENGARUH BENTUK MAGNET PERMANEN PADA ROTOR DAN JARAK ANTAR MAGNET PADA GENERATOR MAGNET PERMANEN ARAH FLUKS AKSIAL 1 FASA
Power plants using renewable energy as an alternative to fossil-based power plants using an axial flux permanent magnet generator are considered suitable and more effective to generate electrical energy. The shape of the permanent magnet used varies, therefore this study aims to determine the effect of the shape of the permanent magnet used on the magnetic flux and the output voltage. The permanent magnets that will be used are trapezoidal, annular, and rectangular. In addition to the shape of the permanent magnet, this study also aims to determine the effect of the distance between permanent magnets at a distance of 2 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm on the magnetic flux and output voltage. This research went through several stages. The first stage, designing an axial flux permanent magnet generator with variations in the shape and distance of the permanent magnet using the Solidwork application. In the second stage, the design that had been made was simulated using the COMSOL Multiphysics application to obtain the magnetic flux value from each variation of the shape and distance of the permanent magnet. In the third stage, the magnetic flux data that had been obtained is processed using the existing formula to get the output voltage value. From the results of the study, it was found that the annular permanent magnet with a distance between permanent magnets of 2 mm had the highest magnetic flux value and output voltage of 3.16 x 10-13 Wb and 1.60 x 10-10 Volts.
