EVALUASI GENERATOR MAGNET PERMANEN PADA PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA GELOMBANG SUNGAI.
In this evaluation, many factors cause the difference in voltage results in the design of the permanent magnet generator between the theoretical calculations and the measurements carried out. Among them are the number of turns, the width of the air gap, and the diameter of the wire. The greater the number of turns, the greater the resulting voltage will be, while for the width of the air gap, the smaller the gap, the greater the output voltage. According to the evaluation results, the number of turns required in the generator design is 2860 turns in order to approximate the calculation results. And the maximum voltage that can be generated in the calculation is 12.26 V. There is a voltage difference of 1.36 V between the average measurement results and the calculation results. The percentage difference in voltage is about 12.5% which is a success in design, because in planning it is not necessary to consider the results of the coil. And in the design generator, the air gap plays an important role in generating GGL induction. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account the air gap more thoroughly so that the resulting GGL is greater.
