PENGARUH KETEBALAN YOKE ROTOR DAN JENIS MATERIAL MAGNET PERMANEN TERHADAP KERAPATAN FLUKS GENERATOR MAGNET PERMANEN FLUKS AKSIAL
Generator is an electrical machine that can convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. Generators that can be used for low rotations such as in Indonesia are permanent magnet generators. This study aims to examine the effect of the thickness of the rotor yoke and the type of permanent magnet material used on the value of the resulting flux density. There are several variations of the thickness of the yoke rotor used, namely 2 cm, 4 cm, 8 cm and variations in the type of material used, namely AlNiCO, Ceramic and NdFeb. To get the value of the flux density, several stages are carried out. First determine the design specifications and design it. The second is to simulate the design results that have been made using the Finite Element Magnetics Method 4.2 (FEMM) software. And the last one takes data on the value of the flux density in each design. From the results of the study it was found that the thickness of the rotor yoke and the type of permanent magnet material affect the value of the resulting flux density. The optimum value of flux density at 2 cm thickness is 0.566971 T using NdFeb permanent magnet material and the smallest flux density value at 8 cm thickness is 0.005504 T using AlNiCo 5 material.
