PERENCANAAN GENERATOR MAGNET PERMANEN FLUKS AKSIAL DENGAN VARIASI JUMLAH KUTUB TERHADAP KECEPATAN PUTAR ROTOR.
One of the types of generator is a permanent magnet generator which is an effective type of generator for use in low-speed power plants with the direction of flux used is axial flux. This study was conducted to examine the output voltage resulting from the rotational speed of the rotor which was varied with speeds of 200 rpm, 300 rpm, 400 rpm, 500 rpm, 600 rpm, 700 rpm, 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm and 2500 rpm. This research was also conducted to determine the effect of variations in the number of poles of a permanent magnet generator on the value of magnetic flux. The number of poles used is 16 poles, 18 poles and 20 poles with a generator stator of 18. The first stage of the research is to design variations of the rotor and stator poles with SolidWorks software. The next stage is to simulate the generator design that has been designed with COMSOL Multiphysics software. The value of magnetic flux and output voltage will be obtained in the design of the magnetic poles in each variation of rotational speed. The results showed that the number of poles used affects the value of the magnetic flux produced and the rotational speed of the rotor will affect the Electromotive Force (EMF).
