UJI AKTIVITAS EKSTRAK ETANOL BIJI CEMPEDAK (Arthocarpus champeden (Lour.) Stokes) TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN LUKA TERBUKA PADA TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR SPRAGUE DAWLEY
An open wound is a wound that is often experienced by everyone that can become chronic if ignored, where bacterial infection can occur in the wound. This study was conducted to see the healing activity of open wounds using ethanol extract of cempedak seeds (Arthocarpus champeden (Lour.) Stokes) which contains secondary metabolites that can help accelerate the wound healing process due to its antibacterial, antioxidant and antioxidant activity. The research was carried out according to the objectives, namely to determine the phytochemical profile and characteristics, the effect of giving the extract on the percentage of wound healing in rats and knowing the good dose of ethanol extract of cempedak stem bark on the duration of wound healing in male white rats of the Sprague Dawley strain. There are 5 treatments in this study, namely positive control using (Tesasol ointment), negative control (only given vaseline), F1 (5% concentration), F2 (10% concentration) and F3 (15% concentration). The data was collected for 20 days. Then it will be processed and analyzed using the SPSS computer program. Phytochemical screening results showed the ethanol extract of cempedak cempedak (Arthocarpus champeden (Lour.) Stokes) seeds contains alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, and phenolic compounds. Characterization of ethanol extract of cempedak (Arthocarpus champeden (Lour.) Stokes) seeds complied with the requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2008). The results showed that the ethanol extract of cempedak seeds (Arthocarpus champeden (Lour.) Stokes) with a concentration of 15% had the best results, this was proven because it could accelerate wound healing with wound healing in rats by 98% which was achieved in 20 days. Then, there was a significant difference (P
