Solar energy is a very important and sustainable energy, environmentally friendly and relatively easy to use. But there is a limit when the amount of solar radiation is high, resulting in the surface temperature of the solar panel also rising so that it can reduce the performance of the solar panel. This study aims to maintain the output power of PV panels by using cooling media in the form of perforated plates made of ACP, this study uses 3 ACP plates measuring 96cm x 60cm with each hole that has been designed with a diameter of 20mm, 22.5mm, and 25mm. The plate with the largest hole of 25mm shows a greater temperature drop compared to the diameter of the other holes, when the highest radiation value of 1009 W/m2 produces a temperature of 58°C in PV panels without perforated plates, while on a perforated plate with a diameter of 25mm there is a decrease in temperature. of 42°C. The 25mm bore diameter cooling plate has the highest output power of 65.16 W compared to the other three solar panels. This shows that the decrease in temperature on the PV panel can improve the performance of the PV panel, because the larger the diameter of the hole on the cooling plate, the greater the decrease in temperature on the PV panel, so that the power generated by the PV panel does not decrease
