ANALISIS KEKASARAN PERMUKAAN PADA PEMESINAN FREIS STAINLESS-STEEL 304 DINDING TIPIS DENGAN PENDINGINAN KRIOGENIK
Cryogenic nowadays is widely used as a cutting fluid in machining processes because it has green machining characteristic. 304 stainless-steel is an austenitic stainless steel that is widely applied in various fields. This is due to its excellent corrosion resistance, and its mechanical properties. This study aims to analyze the surface roughness of 304 stainless-steel material with variations in cutting speed (Vc) and feed rate (Fz) to obtain the regression equation of the overall surface roughness results based on analysis of variance (ANOVA). From the results of the tests performed, it can be concluded that the greater value of cutting speed, the smaller of surface roughness value will be obtained. And the smaller value of feed rate , the smaller of surface roughness value will be obtained also. Based on the results of the surface roughness values test. Feeding rate has a greater influence on the surface roughness value.
