HUBUNGAN ONSET PREEKLAMPSIA DENGAN KEJADIAN BAYI BERAT BADAN LAHIR RENDAH (BBLR) DI RSUP DR. MOH. HOESlN PALEMBANG PERIODE 1 JANUARI-31 DESEMBER 2017
Background: In 2015, Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia was around 2-27% due to low birth weight (LBW). One of the efforts to reduce low birth weight incidence is by knowing earlier preeclampsia in pregnancy period. This study was conducted to determine the correlation between onset preeclampsia and the incidence of low birth weight. Methodsr.This research is analytic hypothesis comparative categorical with crosssectional design. The data is collected through medical records of mothers with preeclampsia at Medical Record Installation RSUP Dr. Moh Hoesin Palembang on January-December 2017. Results: The results of the statistical test with chi-square obtained p value = 0.008 in early onset preeclampsia for LBW while in late onset preeclampsia there was a p value = 0.010 for LBW infants. Analysis of the Exp (B) value of early onset preeclampsia to LBW is 1.095 while the Exp (B) value of late onset preeclampsia is 0.043. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between early onset preeclampsia and late onset preeclampsia with low birth weight. Mothers with early onset preeclampsia has bigger risk than mothers with late onset preeclampsia to have low birth weight.
