Dental health cartoon animation is the series of moving images to serve as educational media that tells about dental health and dental care in general. Educational cartoon animation with interesting visualization and story can offer the joy so that the children can focus and show interest during the leaming process. Dental health cartoon animation is very appropriate for the children development at 8-10 years and supported by technology. Objective : To know the influence of dental health cartoon animation toward children knowledge in class IV SDN 21 Palembang. Methods : The method used in this study was quasi experiment with pretest-postest design with control group. The sample in this study was the total population of 58 children, which was divided into 29 children as experiment group with cartoon animation and 29 children as a control group with dental study model. The quantitaive data and data analysis used Wilcoxon test based on 0,05 significant. Results : The statistical analysis results showed that there are has been an increase of knowledge before and after intervention was done.
