Every product indroduced to consumers must be accompanied by correct information This information is required to give consumers a clear picture of the product The information can be presented in a number of ways, one of which is to include a label or the packaging Information on product packaging labels is essential for the public so that each individual can make correct choices before buying and consuming these products In Indonesia, the products" labels are obligatory i the Indonesian Language Businesses are obliged to carry out their business activities in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations, including in this case the obligation to put labels in Indonesian language on the goods they produce - The objectives of this study are to analyze: (1) the sanctions setting regarding the use of Indonesian Language Labels in the trade of food goods in Indonesix (2) the Legal Liability of Businesses that do not use Indonesian Language Label, and (3) the form of settlement related to business actors who do not carry out the obligation to use the Indonesian language label This study used the normative research approach The results showed that the regulation of sanctions for the use of Indonesian language labels in the sale and purchase of food in Indonesia contained in the legislation in consumer protection related to administrative sanctions in the form of fines and criminal sanctions Futhermore, the legal responsibility is to replace non-Indonesian labels using Indonesian, which in this case not all consumers understand foreign languages in the case of an foreign product being traded in Indonesia. Moreover, the form of settlement, in this case, is in the form of litigation in accordance with the decision of the District Court Cases, business actors who do not use Indonesian language labels, in this case, are proven legally guilty of committing a criminal act of trial that trades in goods and/or services that do not meet the standards required in the provisions of laws and regulations. It is concluded that the obligation of a business actor in terms of using Indonesian language labels is required by the laws and regulations in force in Indonesia in every product because not all consumers understand foreign languages listed on the labels of products on its package Therefore, it is important for producers to include clear information on a product in Indonesian Language Keywords Indonesian, label, Businesses.
