Introduction: The incidence of childhood tuberculosis in the world still quite high, especially in Palembang. The diagnosis of TB in children is difficult to determine because of the absence of the gold Standard examination and clinical presentation is not specific. Therefore, the goal of this research is to evaluate the characteristics of childhood tuberculosis at RSMH Palembang. Method: This observalional descriplive study was conducted in Oclober to December 2013. Source of data is the secondary data from medical record of childhood tuberculosis case at Department of Children 's Health RSMH Palembang Period July 2012 to July 2013. There were 47 samples of this study. Results: Oul of 47 admitted samples, 59.6% was male and 40.4% was female. 42.6%o patients were less than 5 years, 34.0% patients were between 5-
