PENGARUH VARIASI BINDER, ELEKTROLIT DAN PEMAKAIAN EMULSI TERHADAP KINERJA BATERAI LITIUM ION BERBASIS KARBON BATANG KANGKUNG AIR (IPOMOEA AQUATICA)
Lithium ion batteries are a type of secondary battery which means that they can be used many times if the power has started to run out by recharging, where this battery consists of four important components, namely the positive electrode (cathode), negative electrode (anode), electrolyte and separator. The use of anode material which is usually used in the manufacture of lithium ion batteries is in the form of carbon, one of which can be used as carbon is biological plants such as water spinach (Ipomoea Aquatiqa). In this study, carbon stems of water spinach (Ipomoea Aquatiqa) were used as electrodes on the battery, variations in the types of binders namely PU and PTFE binders, variations in the types of electrolytes LiCl and Li2SO4 and the effect of using PEG emulsion to see the performance of the resulting battery. The highest value of energy and power is owned by PTFE binder battery with Li2SO4 electrolyte without the use of PEG emulsion, namely 7,41993 x 10-3 W and 1,65 x 10-3 W.h. In this study, various types of binders were used, namely PU and PTFE binders, variations in the types of electrolytes LiCl and Li2SO4 and the effect of using PEG emulsion to see the performance of the resulting battery.
