PENGARUH VARIASI MOLARITAS NaOH TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK MORTAR GEOPOLIMER BERBAHAN DASAR NANO FLY ASH.
Geopolymer mortar is an alternative to conventional mortar where the basic material does not use portland cement as a binder but uses fly ash which is activated with an alkaline solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of NaOH concentration on the characteristics of geopolymer mortar. The research method is an experimental method using various concentrations of alkaline activator NaOH at 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 molar. The geopolymer mortar in this study was made using fly ash, NaOH, Na2SiO3, and sand. The results showed that the compressive strength increased with increasing NaOH concentration, the maximum compressive strength was 15,74 MPa which was shown in the mortar with a concentration of 18 molar. The highest specific gravity of the mortar was 1,925 gr/cm3, the effect of the NaOH concentration on specific gravity was the same as the compressive strength, the higher NaOH concentration, the greater specific gravity value. Inversely proportional to the compressive strength and specific gravity, the slump flow test is obtained, workability decreases with increasing NaOH concentration.
