This study aims to find out about the implementation of the Palembang City Sewerage Project (PCSP) development which was assisted by a grant from the Australian government through the Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (KIAT) cooperation program. The fact that sanitation conditions in Indonesia and in this case is the city of Palembang is in a position of poor quality and inadequate sanitation with inadequate supporting infrastructure. Various efforts have been made by the Indonesian government to overcome these problems and one of them is through the MSMIP program as a long-term program for several cities in Indonesia and PCSP for the city of Palembang where in its implementation there is foreign assistance from Australia in the form of grants through KIAT. This study was studied using the concept of foreign aid with a descriptive qualitative type of research. This research leads to a description of a phenomenon that occurs by using data types that describe information using descriptive data. In this study, data was taken and collected from interviews with related parties as well as information and data obtained from official documents and literature books, journals, previous research to the official website and relevant documentation. The results of this study show that the PCSP WWTP development program in the city of Palembang has been running well since the beginning of preparation, although there are some significant obstacles. The project which is targeted to be completed by the end of 2022 will bring great benefits to the people of the city of Palembang and this will be a stepping stone for the city of Palembang towards a clean and healthy city.
