Anxiety is a condition that is diffuse and unclear, which is associated with feelings of helplessness as well as feelings of uncertainty. This emotional state has no specific object. And is an emotional response as a form of individual awareness of something, therefore it is necessary to have management that can be done to overcome anxiety. Non-pharmacological management that can be done for anxiety is deep breathing relaxation therapy and five finger hypnosis. In this study, the relaxation therapy given was a combination of deep breathing relaxation therapy and five finger hypnosis. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of deep breathing relaxation therapy and five-finger hypnosis on decreasing the anxiety level of clients who undergo COVID-19 vaccination. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design approach with a non-probability sampling technique. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents who experienced anxiety while undergoing Covid-19 vaccination. Anxiety in respondents was measured by Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. Statistical analysis in this study used the t-test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the p value was 0.000 (α 0.05) which showed that the combination of deep breathing relaxation therapy and five-finger hypnosis had a significant effect on reducing the anxiety level of clients undergoing COVID-19 vaccination. Therefore, a combination of deep breathing relaxation therapy and five finger hypnosis can be recommended as an educational medium for non-pharmacological management of anxiety.
