This study aims to reveal the implementation of supervisory of Palembang City Inspectorate in supervising the management of school operation assitance funds in elementary and junior high school. This study is motivated by the lack of human resources, and the unvalibality of a special application for collecting data on the management of school operation assistance funds at the Palembang City Inspectorate. The theory used by the researcher is concept of George C. Edward III, where the succesfulness of public policy implementation is influenced by four aspect, namely communication, resource, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research resulted in an implementation of the Inspectorate Supervision Function in the Management of School Operation Assistance Funds at Elementary School and Junior High School in Palembang City in the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, bureaucratic structure that have not worked well from various aspects of George C. Edward III’s concept. These things existed because there are still lack of communication especially on sub-aspect of clarity and consistency, where the Palembang City Inspectorate socialization still hasn’t delivered clearly and its supervision object always change frequently. Also, the resources aspect on sub-aspect of staffs arent suffectient enough, and there is no spesific school collecting application available on sub-aspect of facilities. In the result of the study, researcher suggested the the Palembang City Inspectorate should open a large number of recruitment formation. And, also maximize the facilities at the Inspectorate office, especially online-based fasilities. In order to actualize the optimal supervision.
