PENGELOLAAN PENYEDIAAN AIR MINUM DAN SANITASI BERBASIS MASYARAKAT (PAMSIMAS) TAHUN 2021 DI KABUPATEN MUARO JAMBI (STUDI KASUS KECAMATAN SUNGAI GELAM)
Community-based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision (Pamsimas) is a national agenda for enhancing rural residents access to proper drinking water and sanitation facilities through a community-based approach. This agenda is conducted to realize the SDG's sixth goal and achieve the target of 100% universal access to drinking water and sanitation, especially in Sungai Gelam Sub-District. This study aims to determine the management of community-based drinking water and sanitation provision (pamsimas) in Muaro Jambi Regency (case study of Sungai Gelam Sub-District) in 2021. This approach is qualitative descriptive. The sources used were primary and secondary data utilizing data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The theory employed was George R. Terry's theory of management functions, which has four aspects: planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. This study's results showed that the management of Pamsimas in Sungai Gelam Sub-District still has some obstacles that are found meaning that it has not been managed maximal in the aspect of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. This study suggests that the socialization participants only represent each house, distribute small groups for verification to be efficient, invite the community to participate regularly, distribute mutual cooperation groups according to their free time to build construction, conduct cross subsidies as a source of sustainability funds.
