One of the government's policies to overcome poverty is through the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program. The implementation of the distribution of Non- Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in Muara Enim District in tackling poverty has not been maximized, therefore it requires the presence and involvement of the government, especially the Social Service as a government agency that is in accordance with its duties and functions in the implementation of social welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Social Service of Muara Enim Regency in the process of implementing the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program through E-Warong and the obstacles from the Social Service in distributing the assistance to the community in Muara Enim District. The research method used is qualitative description. Data collection in the study was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the Social Service has a role in the process of implementing the BPNT program through E-Warong which consists of the Social Service conducting outreach and education to E-Warong agents and the recipient community, monitoring/monitoring and evaluating the distribution of BPNT, data management and updating recipient data. assistance, surveys for prospective E-Warong agents, as well as coordination with the BRI bank and the Ministry of Social Affairs regarding problems and reporting from the public have been going well, but not yet optimal. This causes of there are still people who have never received socialization and education from the Social Service, and still report/complain to the Social Service regarding data problems.
