HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK KLORAMFENIKOL DENGAN TIMBULNYA STOMATITIS APHTOSA PADA PASIEN DEMAM THYPOID DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP PENYAKIT DALAM RSMH PALEMBANG PERIODE 2011-2012
Treatment of typhoid fever using the antibiotic chloramphenicol was caused side effects such as decreased the amount of good bacteria found in the digestive tract. These side effects led to increase proliferation of the other normal flora such as candida albicans that cause oral candidiasis and stomatitis aphtosa. This study aims to knovv the relationship between duration of use of antibiotics chloramphenicol with the onset o f stomatitis aphtosa on typhoid fever. A Crosssectional study has been done in the Medical Record of in patient and Installation RSMH Palembang on 8th October until 12th October 2012. The sample totaled 270 samples. Each group conducted interviews and intraoral examination to see whether or not stomatitis aphtosa.
