Cyclea bar bata Miers w e re plant which originated from ASEAN. Cyclea barbata Miers contains a major active compound is klorofil and flavonoid and other active compound are polifenol, saponin and alkaloid. They have been known as an antiinflammatory, antibacterial, antivirus and antioxidant that can process SAR healing rapidly. This research aim at investigating the influence of Cyclea barbata Miers extract on the recurrent aphtous stomatitis lesion of SMA Methodist 1 students. This research used clinical trial with experimental method. The subjects of the research were 30 SMA Methodist 1 student which were divided into 4 groups. The first treatment group using extract of Cyclea barbata Miers consentration 2,5%, second treatment group using extract of Cyclea barbata Miers consentration 5%, third treatment group using extract of Cyclea barbata Miers consentration 7,5% and The positive control group using kenalog in orabase. The data were analyzed with paired sample t test, One Way-ANOVA and Post-Hoc tukey test. The conclusion of this research was that Cyclea barbata Miers extract shown the influence on recurrent aphtous stomatitis lesion of SMA Methodist 1 students.
