The purpose of ihe research were to describe some Factors of Farmers adopting long bean cultivation. To Measure tbe knowledge level and the adoption level of cultivating long bean., and to know the relation between knowledge and the adoption level ofr farmers culitivating long bean in Pidau.Semamhu village. This research had been doing in Pulau Semambu Village, North Inderalaya Drstrct Residen of Ogarrllirduriirg November2007- June 2008 to tbe farmers who cultivated long bean. this was case study whit census to 23 famets. The fiel data prepered in tabulation and tested with spearman test. The result swowed the extention agent (PPL) influenced larmers cultivating long bean was 49,56 %, other farmers suggestion was 46,09 % and agrieulturc magazine was 4,35 %. The scoTe knowledge level wrthThe average was 2,44(high), and The score adoption was 2,47 (high) According the Spearman correlation test mdicated there was a positive relationship between the kwoledge and the adoption. level of fanner. cultivating long bean.
