IMPRESSION MANAGEMENT SELEBGRAM UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA DI MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM.
Along with the times, Instagram's function now seems to have moved to become a place to fight for the existence of its users, especially among the younger generation. The most highlighted figures in this phenomenon are Selebgram (Instagram Celebrities), Celebgram is those who are successful in being famous through Instagram. Selebgram's life as a famous celebrity on Instagram cannot be separated from the massive formation and management of the impression they have until they get a lot of attention from their audience. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out and understand the impression management carried out by the Sriwijaya University program on Instagram social media. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection including; in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of data processing show that the impression management of Instagram celebrities at Sriwijaya University in terms of Dramaturgy Studies on the Instagram front stage is carried out with various different strategies and concepts. To create this impression through impression management, the UNSRI Celebrity continues to build an image and identity by continuously uploading content about their wealth, abilities, beauty, intelligence and other aspects that are deliberately highlighted to support the impression they deliberately form on Instagram.
