PERAN WORLD CUSTOMS ORGANIZATION (WC0) DALAM PENERAPAN GENDER EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY (GED) DI SEKTOR BEA CUKAI INDONESIA
Gender injustice is a problem that wants to be addressed by every country. The way to manage it is by creating gender equality without any difference to the rights of the people. With the creation of gender equality, then it can increase development, sustainable growth, and performance in the organization. In creating gender equality, the Indonesian government is involved, and many international organizations help. One of them is WCO (World Customs Organization), a customs organization worldwide. GED is a WCO Capacity Building program to create gender equality in member countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to explain the role of WCO (World Customs Organization) in implementing GED (Gender Equality and Diversity) in the Indonesian Customs Sector using role of international organization theory by Clive Archer. The author obtains data through secondary data obtained from indirect sources such as data on books, journals, reports, and websites. The results obtained from this study are that WCO is implementing GEDs in the Indonesian customs sector through activities such as holding a GED survey. WCO also makes GEOAT, which is an analytical tool, so that this tool can be certain that policies made by Indonesian customs are responsive to gender. WCO also held a webinar in Indonesia to promote GED more. WCO organizes a Virtual Working Group and Network for GED in Customs as a means for its members to be able to discuss regulatory images in their respective countries. WCO is an international organization where decision-making is based on the voice of every member. WCO obtains funds from donations. WCOs also have Customs Cooperation Funds (CCF) consisting of several countries.
