ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN DENGAN RISIKO PERILAKU KEKERASAN DENGAN TERAPI RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (REBT) RS ERNALDI BAHAR PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Background : The risk of violent behavior arises due to discomfort and panic that occurs due to stressors from inside and outside the environment. Violent behavior that arises in schizophrenic clients begins with feelings of worthlessness, fear and rejection by the environment so that individuals will step away from interpersonal relationships with other people. Clients with violent behavior experience changes in cognitive responses in the form of thought process disorders. Rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) is a cognitive and behavioral approach to understanding and overcoming negative emotional and behavioral problems that stem from irrational beliefs. Aim: Implement mental nursing care in patients at risk of violent behavior at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Method: The method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The implementation of the case study is carried out in stages (1) giving three cases (2) theoretical analysis (3) compiling a nursing care format consisting of assessment formats, nursing diagnoses, interventions, implementations, to evaluation formats based on the provisions that apply at the maternity nursing station, ( 4) establishing nursing diagnoses based on the concept and practice of mental health nursing care, (5) providing nursing care. Results: After being given SP and additional rational emotive behavioral therapy there was a reduction in signs and symptoms of violent behavior and the patient was able to identify past events and think rationally and be able to express rational thinking by distinguishing facts and opinions.
