This research entitled "Effectiveness of the Use of Face Print Attendance in Improving Discipline of the State Civil Apparatus at the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency". The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the use of face print attendance in improving the discipline of the state civil apparatus in the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation.. This study uses the theory of Tangkilisan regarding effectiveness measurement tools. The results of this study indicate that the use of face print attendance in improving ASN discipline in the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency has not been effective, this can be seen from the realization of the ASN discipline target that has not reached the target, there are still ASNs who have not been able to adapt ASN to the use of face print attendance, and the use of face print has not been maximized in increasing ASN job satisfaction. The recommended suggestions in this study are 1) providing education or training to ASN about improving work discipline, 2) providing brief socialization and training for ASN who do not understand in detail the use of face print and digital attendance such as e-office, 3) providing media motivation to ASN such as giving promotions or symbolic gifts to ASN who have good attendance reports and giving punishments such as being given a warning letter, 4) maintaining and increasing aspects of the responsibility carried out by operators for absenteeism, improving aspects that have not been implemented such as achieving targets discipline, ASN adaptability, and job satisfaction.
