Community television is a television broadcasting media system originating from an organization or group that has the same understanding and thought , community television cannot be separated from the broadcasting law in carrying out its broadcasts , causing several limitations in broadcasting including getting a lot of viewers and income as income , broadcasting , with the current development of communication media , the existence of social media which is easy and accessible media anywhere and anytime can help community television for the MAPTV method of essy MAPTV broadcasts so that there is media convergence that combines new media with media length of broadcasting to make it easier to access broadcasts and attracting public interest in religious broadcasts , especially Islam as a form of Islamic religious broadcasts . This study uses Roger Fuller's 2003 ) theory of mediamorphosis which includes several dimensions , including coevolution and coexistence , metamorphosis , inheritance , survival , opportunities and needs , delayed adoption . The purpose of this research is to see the transformation strategy of media convergence that occurs at MAPTV stations . This type of research uses in - depth interviews with qualitative methods , the key informant is the person in charge of the MAPTY field with data lysis wchniques with data reduction and presenting the data obtained . The first result is that MAPTV'has carried out a media convergence process , the second is that MAPTV is still able to saruve with changes in media so that the restrictions that become obstacles to MAPTV can be reduced so that MAPTV is still on air and gets an increase in viewers - viewers and it is easy to access VAPTV broadcasts .
