This thesis is entitled “The Socio-Economic Impact of Tangguh Jagoan Village Establishment of Sungai Selayur Sub-District Society During Covid-19 pandemic” This research is being conducted based on the research problem regarding to the establishment of Tangguh Jagoan Village which is affecting social and economic matter to society of Sungai Selayur Sub-District in order to maintain food security during Covid-19 Pandemic. The aim of this research is to comprehend social and economic impact due to the establishment of Tangguh Jagoan Village in order to maintain food security during Covid-19 Pandemic. The research methodology is qualitative while the research strategy is descriptive, then the data collecting method is using several ways, those are observation, conducting an interview with 9 informants along with documentation as well as literature study and lastly this research being analyzed with social transformation theory by Piort Sztompka. The result of this research is social and economic impact both have negative as well as positive side. While the positive sides are mutual cooperation emergence, good communication, stakeholder involvement, participation of the Dasawisma and PKK groups as well as increased security, meanwhile the negative social impacts are the occurrence of theft as much as one catfish pond and the manager's schedule in managing Tangguh Jagoan Village. The positive economic impact are increasing agricultural around Rp.500.000-Rp.1.000.000 along with fishery income as big as Rp.4.000.000-Rp.6.000.000, Srio Caffe & Resto income around Rp.500.000-Rp.1.000.000 and manager wages and the negative economic impact is the lack of crop yields due to weather factors. Through the existence of Tangguh Jagoan Village, it has a socio-economic impact on the Community of Sungai Selayur Village in maintaining their food security with the availability of biological resources in the form of various types of fish and vegetables.
