This thesis is written with the title Theft Crime Prevention With Violence by the Padang Ulak Tanding Sector Police in the Village of Kepala Curup Bonduriang District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Province Bengkulu Article 2 of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Police The Republic of Indonesia maintains the functions and roles of the Police Republic of Indonesia. One form of crime is a criminal act become a problem in the community, especially in the village of Kepala Curup crime of theft with violence, therefore an effort is needed response by the Police. In this thesis the problem is How is the Padang Ulak Tanding Sector Police in handling acts crime of theft with violence and what factors influence the Police Padang Ulak Tanding sector in dealing with criminal acts of theft with violence in the village of Kepala Curup. This research uses the method empirical research by conducting interviews with the parties namely Padang Ulak Tanding Sector Police and other related parties. Results that obtained in this study is the first to use non-effort criminal and criminal. An effort to prevent before the occurrence of crime viz non-criminal. Countermeasures undertaken after the crime occurred viz criminal effort. Furthermore, the research results are influencing factors The Padang Ulak Tanding Sector Police are Internal Factors and External occurrence of theft with violence and there are supporting factors and Obstacles for the Police in tackling the Crime of Theft with Violence.
