This study discusses the correlation between empathy and altruism behavior of Students in Sociology Study Program 2018 , Sriwijaya University. This study aims to determine the correlation between empathy and altruism behavior of Students in Sociology Study Departement uses a correlational quantitative approaching. The sample in this study amounted to 64 students, who are the active Students in Sociology Study Program 2018. The data collection technique used an online questionnaire via Googleform used a Likert scale. This analysis methods used to test the researcher's hypothesis using the perason product moment technique. The results shows that there is a correlation between empathy and altruism behavior of Students in Sociology Study Program 2018, Sriwijaya University, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.559 with a significance of 0,000 p ≤ 0,05. So it can be concluded that there is a correlation between empathy and altruism behavior of Students in Sociology Study Program 2018 at Sriwijaya University. Thus, it can be stated that the proposed hypothesis is proven to be accepted. Keywords: Empathy, Altruism Behavior
