International cooperation is a step taken by countries in the world today to improve their economies by initiating more comprehensive agreements. This study aims to determine the economic effects of the Indonesia-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IC-CEPA) in Indonesia. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data in the study were obtained from primary data where the data sources were obtained by interview techniques and also secondary data obtained from literature and supporting data sources such as journals, news and so on. The concept used in this research is the concept of EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) with the following indicators, Privileges on Both Sides, Economic Integration, Capacity Building and Practical Barriers. After looking at all the indicators, it can be seen that the IC-CEPA is a bilateral agreement that is a partnership and tries to be economically integrated and uses WTO rules as the basis of the agreement even though it does not yet have a commitment to development in order to increase the industrial capacity of partner countries. However, after the IC-CEPA was implemented, it gave results that were not in line with expectations were before the IC-CEPA applied to Indonesian trade it was $158.5 in 2017 and increased in 2018 to $1159.0. Meanwhile, in the year after the implementation, fluctuations and deficit were at $126.7 in 2019 and $144.8 in 2020. The results of the research are the Indonesia-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IC-CEPA) has a negative economic effect on Indonesia because after the agreement is implemented the balance sheet of Indonesia's trade has decreased compared to the year before the agreement took effect Keywords: Economic Effect, Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), IC-CEPA
