Knowledge of KIPI is one of the things to be improved because the lack of community knowledge about it can lead to anxiety and fear. In increasing knowledge of KIPI in the community, a health education media is needed and what the government recommends is a booklet. Booklet is used as basic in creating an innovative and creative media so that public knowledge increases. The study aimed to determine the diffference between animated media and booklet for health education on community knowledge about pst-immunization events (KIPI) of Covid-19. The study used a quasi-experimental design method with a three-group pretes-posttest design with group control design, and the sample was obtained using accidental sampling technique. The number of sample of 45 respondents. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and ANOVA test. The results of the study showed that there were differences between respondents' knowledge after being given health education and booklet media and animated video media, differences respondents' knowledge after being given health education using booklets and combined media, and differences in community knowledge about(KIPI) of Covid-19 after being given health education using booklets, animated videos and combined media with p value of 0.0001. The differences increase in knowledge in the three groups occurred because of the provision of health education with different media. The use of booklets in health education could stimulate the sense of sight, while videos could stimulatethe sense of hearing and vision so that the information conveyed was well received. The more senses were used when receiving information, the easier i was to undestand the information provided which in turn increases knowledge. Animated video could increase the average value of knowledge so that it could be used as a media for health education
